Dr. Monica was born and raised in Concord, Ohio. She attended The University of Findlay where she graduated with degrees in biology and animal science with an emphasis in pre-veterinary medicine and a minor in chemistry. During her time at Findlay, she participated in the hunter/jumper equestrian show team and the woman’s lacrosse team. After her undergraduate studies, Dr. Monica went on to work for a farm corporation as a biosecurity auditor. While working there she developed and implemented a new biosecurity program for the company’s turkey, chicken and hog farms. Dr. Monica was introduced to the chiropractic field by a family friend. Dr. Monica decided to pursue her chiropractic education at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA. The founding school of chiropractic. She participated in animal chiropractic club and served as president of the club for a year and a half. She also became a teaching assistant for the technique department. Dr. Monica’s clinical year was focused in pregnancy, pediatric and family services. It is because of this that Dr. Monica plans on pursuing her diplomate in pediatrics from the ICPA. Dr. Monica completed her animal chiropractic certification program from Animal Chiropractic Education Source (A.C.E.S.). She is certified through the American Veterinary Chiropractic Association. She is also certified by both the Canadian Chiropractic Examination Board and National Board of Chiropractic Examiners. Dr. Tyler Cole was born and raised in the Swan River Valley. After graduating from the Swan Valley Regional Secondary School in 2011, he attended the University of Manitoba before transferring to Palmer Chiropractic College to finish his Bachelor of Science degree, as well as his Doctorate of Chiropractic. He graduated in October of 2018. Having attended school at Palmer’s Davenport location where Chiropractic was founded, he found a great appreciation for chiropractic philosophy and built a strong foundation in chiropractic technique. Learning several hands-on techniques, he spent the last year of schooling in the Palmer Clinic’s refining his analysis and hands on skills under the supervision of Palmer’s Staff Doctors. With this experience, he is able to adjust using patient preference during adjustments to help promote individual health. Becoming certified by both the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners (NBCE), and Canadian Chiropractic Examination Board (CCEB) made him eligible to practice in both the United States of America and Canada. Upon graduation from Palmer, he returned to the Swan River Valley where he plans to grow his roots, and give back to the community that he was raised in. In the summer and fall, you will find Dr. Tyler on the sidelines of the SVRSS Tiger’s football field helping to coach the team.
